We spent Christmas day with my family. It was great, our Christmas present this year was Disneyland so we all got to sleep in until 11:00 and spent the day playing Mariokart and eating more good food. I slacked on taking pictures, but I did take some of Sean and Chad when they decided to go out in the CRAZY snow blizzard to go sledding.

Disneyland '08
This last week we went to Disneyland with my family. Sean is leaving on his mission in January and wanted to go on a family vacation before he left, Chad and I went last year at this time and really loved so we suggested it and everyone agreed! I LOVE Disneyland, I don't think I can even tell you why, it is just fun and I love to be there. And it is even better during Christmas time, everything is lit up and the castle looks amazing! I made sure my camera was charged and ready to go so enjoy!

Family Time
We are done with finals finally! The semester drug on for both of us, but we both think we did well! Chad went online to take his last final and found out that he had to get a password from the testing center at UVU-so he had a half an hour to get from our house in Riverton to UVU, luckily he made it!
We had a really good weekend with our families. It is not very often that all 8 kids are in town, but it happened last weekend. Chad's parents invited us all over for steaks and it was really great to see everyone!
One of my favorite thing about Christmas is going to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert, they are so amazing and always have extremely talented guests perform with them. We went with my family on Sunday morning, we love the Sunday morning performance because that is the one the prophet attends. It was so great to feel the spirit and remember why we celebrate Christmas. Sorry for no pictures..I brought my camera but did not realize it was out of battery-bummer huh..

Clarification..
I guess I should have told you all who Harrison is and the story...it's the last week of school so my brain is fried I apologize for the lack of info. Harrison was Chad's best friend-they were practically brothers. In August 2007 Harrison was diagnosed with ALL, a type of leukemia. He fought hard but passed away in January. That is the whole story, does the last post make a little more sense now?

We love and miss you Harrison!
Tonight we got together with all of Chad's friends and went to dinner at Bonsai. 6 of them have birthdays in December so we decided to celebrate all together. It was good to get together to remember Harrison and all the good memories they all had with them, his birthday is on the tenth and we definitely miss him terribly.
We also finally got our Christmas tree up, I love our tree. My awesome mom bought it for us and all the decorations-isn't she great?

Happy Birthday Chad!
It was Chad's birthday on Wednesday-the big 24. We both had school, I didn't get done until seven, but I came home and made him tacos since he loves them and I hate them so I never make them. So I went to WalMart to get the cake because suprisingly they are really good, but the lady did a horrible job at writing on it, so that it is why it looks so bad! Chad got some new clothes and some nice warm Ugg boots! Love you Chad!

Nothing new....
We really haven't been up to much lately. Our Thanksgiving was ok, we ate a delicious meal at Chad's parent's and then I got to go to work from 3-midnight...lucky me right? We are getting excited for Christmas and especially for school to get out in a couple of weeks. This semester has really drug on so I am ready to be done. We did see a good movie on Wednesday-Four Christmases, we both thought it was really funny, so if you are looking for a good movie I would recommend it! Well, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving full of good food and family! Sorry for nothing too exciting!

AMAZING!
So I don't know how many of you watched or went to the Utah vs TCU game last night, but if you didn't you missed out! It was a great game! We went with Tyler and Ambria, and even though we were on the highest row we had a blast! When Utah made that winning touchdown everyone went crazy! And the poor TCU kicker lost the game TWICE for his team....I'm sure he feels great today! Anyways....it was a great game and it makes me even more excited for the BYU game! (The picture is the winning touchdown)

I hope they call me on a mission
My brother Sean got his mission call! He is going to the Illinios Chicago North mission, and he leaves on January 28! I am so excited for him, but also quite sad at the thought of him leaving for two years....I really love Sean and am so proud of him!

This and That
We had a great weekend! On Friday we went to the exhibit called Bodyworlds down by the library, it was really interesting. We had been to one in Vegas and enjoyed it, but this is the original exhibit so we were thinking it is probably better so when Chad's mom and dad said they wanted to take us we were all for it! So anyways-definitely a must see! After Bodyworlds we made our way up to the cabin (since it was conference weekend and we didn't have teach primary on Sunday), and it was soooo nice to just sit around and relax and watch movies and enjoy conference. Wasn't it a great conference? I always feel grateful that we have such amazing leaders that give us such great advice and wisdom. I wish we would have not forgot our camera because it was really pretty up there with all the leaves changing. Well we also watched "Iron Man" and "Baby Mama". You just can't beat "Iron Man", it is a great movie. "Baby Mama" was surprisingly good also, I recommend it.
Well that is all from us!

Meet the Rasmussens
Chad and I got married on August 11, 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. We currently live in a townhouse in Riverton. We do not have any little ones yet-unfortunately I started school and for some reason want to finish. We do have a dog named Maui that thinks she is human though. We are both in school, Chad
is studying Business at UVU, he will get his bachelors next summer and then go on to get an MBA. I am studying child life at the University of Utah and will graduate next summer with my bachelors-maybe then Chad will let me have a child. We also both work, Chad at Royce Industries and I at Primary Children's in Pediatric ICU. That is us!
