Growing Up

I have been slacking in the blogging world....being a mommy and working full time keeps this girl busy!  Emma will be 8 months old on the 21st, she is a VERY busy bee lately, wants to get into EVERYTHING! But she is oh so fun, lots of smiles and laughs and on the verge of crawling.  No teeth yet, I keep waiting for one to pop up, but they are taking their time. We love having Emma a part of the family and still can't believe how fast she is growing up.  We took a quick trip to St. George and Vegas a week ago, she was not quite sure what to think of the pool with all the noisy kids (it wasn't warm enough to go to the outside pool), but she loved the fountains and butterfly houses at the Bellagio.

4 Months!

Miss Emma had her 4 month appointment on Wednesday. Time is FLYING by...Here is where she's at:

Weight: 10 pounds 4 ounces (3rd percentile, yes 3rd, she is a TINY peanut)

Height: 24 inches (53rd percentile)

Head: 3rd percentile (I don't have the measurements in front of me)

Emma is growing up too fast. She has found her voice and loves to jib jab, puts EVERYTHING in her mouth (mostly her fingers), rolled over twice, loves patty cake, Christmas songs, and peek-a-boo, and sleeps through the night in her crib in her own room. We are so in love with her and she most certainly has her dad wrapped around her tiny little finger with her smiles and giggles (ok..me too).

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween weekend.  Emma lasted 5 minutes Trick or Treating...it was toooo cold! She was a Kitty and tolerated her costume better than I expected.  She's so darn cute...we just love her more and more every day!

6 Weeks!

Emma turned 6 weeks old on Saturday, I can not believe how fast time is flying by! I know everyone says this, but I really feel like it was yesterday that she was born. We are so in love with her and are so glad she is here with us.  Right now Emma: loves her swing, loves her dad's lullabies, HATES lotion time, loves bath time, is getting so strong and holding her head up so well, likes to be rocked, spits up a TON, makes so many faces and is smiling more, and she gets so mad when she has to poop! I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures of her so far, enjoy!

Four Years!

It's hard to believe it has been 4 years since I married my sweetheart.  It is has been a great 4 years-we have accomplished so much and had many adventures.  I can not wait for all the adventures still to come! Thank you for a great 4 years Chad, I love you!

30 Weeks

Only 10 more weeks until we get to meet our sweet little girl! I had an ultrasound today so we got to see her moving around. She is camera shy and was covering her face and she was also sucking her thumb-we could even see her little jaw moving up and down, so amazing! She definitely is one active little baby.  Here are a couple of the pictures we got of her-the first one is a profile picture and the second is her cute little foot.

Let's just say that I am really excited for next year's football season! GO UTES!

Update

I guess it is time for a little update. Chad graduated from UVU with his bachelor's in Business Management in April and got accepted to the U for graduate school! He's such a smarty pants and I am soooo proud of him! His mom and dad took us to San Diego for his graduation gift, Chad has always wanted to tour the USS Midway so we decided to get it done before this little girly gets here.  As for the little one, I am now 26 weeks along and feeling great! We can't wait for her to get here so we can smother her with hugs and kisses.  I don't have any belly pics, but here are some from graduation and San Diego.

Our little peanut is  a little GIRL!!!! We are so excited, a little shocked because we were both certain it was a boy, but we can't wait to meet our baby girl! Now the real fun starts!!!

Disneyland '09

For the past three years Chad and I have gone to Disneyland as our Christmas present to each other. It is a nice way to wind down after finals and just have a break from everything. Here are some pictures from our trip this year:

3 Years Ago Today:

I was twenty minutes late to the temple because my hair took too long, Chad was terrified by the time I got there that I had stood him up

I wished I had tan skin that looked good with a white dress instead of my pale skin that never tans

I was so nervous of kissing Chad in the ceremony that it turned out to be a very small peck, something I am still embarassed about

We were hurried out of the sealing room with no time to hug our families that were there

Chad's mom and dad went missing after the ceremony when it was time for pictures-they went to get a Diet Coke

Chad stepped on my dress and ripped one of the gatherings

But best of all...I married my best friend

In spite of all the madness....it was the happiest day of my life! I love you Chad!
